The Bosch S5A 11 battery is distinguished by the use of advanced AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology, which means it uses glass mats soaked in electrolyte. Thanks to this solution, the battery is able to offer significantly better performance and reliability compared to traditional lead-acid batteries. The basic parameters of the battery are 80 Ah of capacity and 800 A of starting current. The positive pole (+) is located on the right side of the battery, looking from the terminal side. This is the most common layout in the United Kingdom.
