The Varta F22 battery utilizes advanced EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) technology, which represents an evolution of traditional lead-acid batteries. EFB technology increases the battery’s resistance to deep discharges and frequent charging cycles, which is particularly important in vehicles that use start-stop systems and those equipped with numerous electrical devices operating even when the engine is off. The basic parameters of the battery are 80 Ah of capacity and 730 A of starting current. The positive pole (+) is located on the right side of the battery, looking from the terminal side. This is the most common layout in the United Kingdom.
